ÅForsk offers repatriation grants to Swedish researchers currently working abroad who wish to return and continue their research at a Swedish university or research institute.
The repatriation grant is aimed at researchers who want to re-establish themselves in Sweden as independent researchers after an international stay at the postdoctoral level. The application is open to researchers who have obtained their doctorate in Sweden no more than seven years ago and who have conducted research abroad for at least one year as an academic or industrial postdoctoral researcher, or as an employed industrial researcher.
