Travel Grant Call Paused

For many years, ÅForsk has offered two travel grant calls per calendar year, aimed at students and early-career researchers. The autumn 2026 call for travel grants will now be paused.

The Foundation is currently conducting a review to assess how ÅForsk’s funding can best contribute to its mission of promoting research and development within the Foundation’s core areas.

– It has been exciting to follow our travel grant recipients and learn about their travels and exchanges. We are currently reviewing our funding strategy, and as a result we will not be opening the travel grant call this autumn. In November, the foundation’s board is expected to decide which future funding calls ÅForsk should focus on in order to create the greatest possible benefit, says Per Dannetun, CEO of ÅForsk.
